Hi Lori,

I am from good old Germany/Bavaria and it's quite a distance to Scotland. But I'm sure the long tour with the bus from here to there will be worth every single moment, but I can't wait to get there.
I will go from Edinburg up to the south and back again and I have to share the room. But this isn't bad. 10 days are really a little short, but I'm sure you'll like every minute of it. I make 10 day tours as well, but mostly to towns like Chicago, Detroit and Toronto. I enjoy this trips very, very, veeeery much, but my fave place is still London.

hello, j-lo

Since you've been there, do you have any suggestions in Edinburgh for must-do's and must-see's? We'll (2 friends and I) will be staying there for 2 nights and 3 days. It would be so wonderful to take my family there, but since I've made this MY grad. present to myself, I and a couple of friends are going. Gives us a chance to be silly girls for a while. I do intend to make the trip over with my family someday, though.

good morning recider

Sounds like you take a lot of fun trips! I have a couple friends from Germany. They're wonderful girls. My brother and his family live over there now. He just loves your country. I've only heard wonderful things about it's beauty. It's so much fun exploring other places, though. You will enjoy your trip to Edinburgh, I'm sure. I can't wait, myself. I feel like I've waited forever already! We'll be getting our plane tickets sometime over the next month. The fares are supposed to drop like a stone after the holidays. Best time to get plane tickets!
At work right now, so drop a line to say hello soon.
Lori

Hi Lori,

Today was extra funny for me, cause I was the onliest in our restaurant. That was quite cool and I made a little fun with the staff.
I was that busi today that I almost missed the christmas-come together in our open-office where my boss is. I have 2 guys that can order me, first is my chief, he is in the office with me and second is the boss, in the open office. How many "superiors" do you have? (hehee)

Merry X-mas

hi j-lo

Thanks for the hints. We will be flying into Aberdeen, then traveling to Inverness, Fort William, Edinburgh, Perth, and back to Aberdeen, before spending one night in London before going home. So, we will definately be checking out all those places you mentioned. I so wish I had more time than I do, though. Well, that just means I'll have to talk the hubby into taking a trip with me (I would just have to go, just to show him around, right?), after my trip on my own, that is. lol!
