Hey!
I'm 17 and female in the US of A. First off, I love my country so anyone who has anything bad to say about it or our president can just buzz off. Anyway, I'm looking for a European pen pal, perferably Scottish and male just because I tend to get along better with guys, but any European nationality will do. Or even if you're not and just find you want to talk to someone, I'm here. I am just looking for friendship. I am learning how to use a hand and a half sword at the moment and love edged weapons. Now before you x out of this screen because you think I'm a blood thirsty freak, let me explain. I love the art and beauty of swordmanship and the quality and romance of the sword. I also enjoy movies (action, war, romantic comedy), horses, wolves, and video games. Currently I am working on Ninja Gaiden. I'd have to say my favorite games are Final Fantasy IX and Soul Caliber II for the GAme Cube. Well, there it is. I don't want to bore you guys anymore, so please reply if you are interested. P.S. For those LOTR lovers out there my SN "Macilwen" means Sword-Maiden. |

Hey there US-girl,
I am not scottish, in fact I'm not a GB either, but I love to talk to people. And I love to talk english. I love to hear classic (I'm still in the 20th), but classic sounds so smooth and the essentialst of all is that classic is played in my fave movie categorie, in Science fiction, like StarTrek or StarWars. The other music I like too but in my car is a classic zone. I like sport as well, but last year I was really lazy, I almost did no sport, but this year I hope I gain my sportsheart back, for driving bike in Austria. I love the Austrian Streets, cause they are sometimes very steep and it goes up the hill and down and up again, this is what I like. I didn't know much games, cause I have here only a playstation with a few games like JB. Tomorrow never dies or StarWars. Now I confess, I am German, Bavarian exactly, but I have never been to the Octoberfest, even guys that travelled with me in NewZealand was there. But this year I try to make it. I also like the entire movieworld, Dramas, Comedy but mostly I prefer Horror movies, did you see Gothika, that's a very good one. Your friend Quick |

Thanks for replying. I was afraid I scared everyone away.
No, I have not seen Gothika. I got bad reviews, but if you've seen it and liked it, I might go watch it. I like the occasional horror flick. So your from Germany, huh? That is so cool! What it like over there? Cool, hot, dry, humid, green, brown? I have a little German in my background and you might already know this, but there is a strong sword history in Germany. HAve you seen Signs? That is my all time favorite horror film! |

Hey,
Here in Germany, the weather was terrific until today, it was shiny, warm (oddly for this time) and fortunely it is not much humid yet, I hope that this humid **** will be this year not as bad as last year. I live here in a nice green environment (meadows and woods) and I just like it. We have here 2 horses, that made a knid of work, but I am in a office and I think it's good for me to work at home for the horses. Do you have animals as well? Quick |

Yes, my family and I have lots of animals. 2 horses, 8 goats, 3 house birds, and three dogs.
Do yo ride your horses? If so, which disipline? I usually ride English and am learning to jump. What kind of horse do you have? I have a Hanoverian-TB and a full off the track TB. Germany sounds so beautiful! Out here green and finally dry. It was raining a lot. It's very pretty this time of year. Across my street is a hill with tons of trees and is resident to two red tail hawks. Well, I'm getting off now, so I'll see you in a week! |

Hey,
I almost a little shy to answer your question, but I didn't ride with our horses. In fact only my sister can ride, my parents got a bad backbone and I had to many accidents where I broke any bone of my body, so I don't dare to ride. Our horses are a thoroughbred mare and a small kind of cold blood stallion, it is gelded of course. We here got no hawks or any other birds of prey here. The farmers wouldn't allow this, they have lot of chickens. Speaking about farmers. Here in Germany the price for the milk has fallen and the farmers protests all the time against it in the newspaper, but last week they made a special. They poured the milk on the streets or took a bath in milk. Yes, we had a wonderful week behind us and I hope that it will stay like this the next weeks, but we live here in a very cold village, which I like, and have to reckon with snow until the end of April, but I don't like the snow no more, cause this year we have it long enough.
