Hello Abbi and Mayrah,
today I was in the cinema and it was so funny. I watched the movie Identity in english and I was the onlyest person in the showing chamber. I think that's remarkable. It's the second time it was a movie just for me, the first movie I was alone in the room was believe it or not American Pie 1. Now I have seen all the movies from American Pie and I think it's unbelievable but every part is better that the previous. Do you have seen all the parts of American Pie?

Well, I'm back at college Oh well only three weeks until Christmas break! Yay! I hope you guys are doing well!

I too enjoy all kinds of music, though I usually listen to country because that is what I grew up on I'm a big fan of classic rock I have chores at home, just the basic feeding if my dad doesn't have time to do it, and collecting eggs from the chickens. I don't like chickens, but my mom loves them for some odd reason.

I've only been out of the U.S. to Canada and Mexico so I have never had to use a travel agent. I need to look into getting a passport though, so that I can go to Scotland.

It's a rainy day today with impending snow probably coming this week. I hope you guys are having better weather! God bless!

Oh my what a wonderful Thanksgiving!

My husband and I slept through Thanksgiving and we went out for food and drinks later that evening.

Saturday we went to the bar my cousing works at. She always gets us good deals on the drinks. WEll, I had a bit too much to drink and retired at 10:30 PM!!! LOL! How pathetic is that, hee hee, I must be getting old. We were leaving when everyone else was just getting there. Oh well, I only drink only do it once a year so I guess my body isn't trained to hold liqour like most people our age.

I rented Identity this weekend! What an awesome movie. I love psychological thrillers. Were you at all surprised by the outcome? Oh, and John Cusack is just so incredibaly gorgeous! Don't you think so? JK, hee hee.

I haven't seen the third American Pie yet. I always wait for the movies to come out on DVD to see them. I hate movie theaters. I am quite surprised more people were not with you too see American Pie. Those movies are such big hits here.

Mayrah-
I used to listen to a lot of country but my musical style has changes quite a bit through the years. My favorite country singer is Martina McBride however. Who is yours?

Classic rock huh? I am not really sure what is considered to be classic rock. I know I like Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac. Are they considered classic rock? I just refer to them as hippy music seeing that is what my Dad listened to during his hippy time.

Hi Abbi,

I can`t drink as much whisky and hard stuff either as much as others did, but I always try to do it. What I should say more this year in Norway I drank a whisky with ice from there. I could only remember 2 whiskys and my friend there said the next morning he owes me one cause on that (bad) day I have paid him one beer, sorry I said, I can't remember.
But the barkeepers and the waitresses was much funny. We talked in probably every language, Russian, Spanish and a little german and English of course.
Liquor is very good, but only when I'm drink one little glass of it, there is no better taste, I think.
Yes, JC was very good in that movie. But the story of the movie was also very good, who had thought that the boy causes all those murderers.
Today I bought a little Christmas tree for my job, but it has no peak. At home I have a peak, but it is almost as tall as the tree, lets look tomorrow.
In original versions are always not too much people, only students, visitors, teachers and myself. I am going in that movies as much as I can, cause I still have to learn much about this language. The 3rd part of AP I saw it 3 or four times, but only one time in original but it is so funny, doesn't matter what language.
Is it snowing in your land? Here it snowed on the weekend, but it get's so warm that it would be melted in a few days.

Hey Quick-

I could never understand why people like whisky. My Dad drinks whisky and coke all the time. When I was little I would ask him if I could have a sip of his coke and it would end up having whisky in it. YUCK!!! I drank 3 Cranberry and Vodka's Saturday night. Vodka is by far one of my favorites. However since we knew one of the waitresses my drinks were almost pure vodka with a splash of cranberry. I think I learned my lesson though, LOL.

I loved how the characters in Identity symbolized the kids multiple personality disorder. I liked how the killing of each character represented the guys struggle to integrate his personalities.

Have you seen Finding Nemo? I saw that this weekend too. It was adorable. My favorite part in the movie is when the sharks are talking about how Americans think they own everything. So true!

So in Germany you guys put up Christmas trees too? Do you use real or fake trees? I think the only way to go is with a real tree. There is something to be said about walking in your home with the smell of pine lingering in the air. What a wonderful smell.

It snowed here in Michigan last week and a little during this past weekend. Last week we had 4 inches of snow and it stuck to the ground for about 4 days. We are supposed to have a really bad winter this year with a possible blizzard...ugh, I sure hope not.

Hey do you know of any good history books for any country other than the US?

Hi Abbi.
No, unfortunely I don't saw Nemo, there were always full cinema when they showed it, I guess I have to reserve a card for the weekend. I always go to the cinema on weekends, cause after the work I'm a bit tired.
No I don't know much about the history books for other countries, I get a map and a book about the travel-destinations I go to. I have at home 10 Books about the worlds history but I got stucked with the 5th book.
We have all winter real Christmas trees, they look way more nicer than the plastic. You have a little more to do, watering it or just clean the carpet of needles, but it was worth it says my mother. For me, there is no need of a Christmas tree, I could live with it, but not with my parents.
I love a very little glass of whisky after the meal. I feel I can better digest with it, if it is not so, I don't know.
Your so lucky to have snow during the Christmas time, it is a way better Christmas then, I guess we have green Christmas again.
In America is now a bad time. When I see the news there was a flooding there and a big fire there, I could be glad that I live here in Germany, but we get almost out of drinking water here, cause we had an awful hot summer. We need the drinking water, but the nature need it more than we.
How was it in USA with the drinking water after this summer?
