Hey Abbi,
I had a pretty good weekend, very relaxing. I'm glad you like my ideas for my book That makes me feel great! I'm going home for Thanksgiving! I get the whole week off of school so I'm going to go spend time with the family and my friends that I never get to see. I don't have any animals up at school but at home we have a dog, many barn cats, cows, 2 horses, and my mom's chickens. Yup, I'm a farm girl through and through Happy Thanksgiving!! UGH. I am having a horrible week. Saturday I have to drive 2 hours north to a friends house warming party and I am not looking forward to it. Oh well, its only one day.

Quick- I am with you on the roast pork. I HATE roasted pork. The only thing I like from a pig is bacon.

In Germany, is it traditional for sons and daughters to live with their parents until married? I know in the Mexican culture it is tradition. Here in the US it is more usual for daughters to live with their parents until married but not sons.

You mentioned that you realized your English needed more work the first time an American spoke to, what was the first thing an American said to you? I am a little curious. Elvis?????!!!!!! hee hee hee!!! Do you typically enjoy Elvis' music? Sorry, I had a laugh at that one, of all things to learn English you chose Elvis

Mayrah- I can relate to you being a farm girl. I grew up for a short time on a farm. I admit I don't remember much but I think it is still with me. You can take the girl out of the farm, but you can't take the farm out of the girl, LOL!!!! I love animals of all types. I always wanted my own little pet sheep. At one point I owned 15 lizards. I use to breed them. What do you think of reptiles?

Hi Abi,
Yes I still enjoy Elvis-songs especially the songs from his movies, my fave is from summer in florida, I'm not a marring kind, well that's what I understand, correct me if it is needed. But I have many CD's from him as well, I like his gentle, smooth voice, don't get me wrong I'm not gay.
Here in Germany there exist none tradition on moving out from the parents house, my sister is get engaged and have his own house rented, but she's a lot of time at home (parent's house) to help my mother to cut the firewood.
The first thing a American said to me was:"Can I have the tray, please?" She was serving me some coffee in the airplane and I just looked at her, thinking nervously what she was meaning to me, and after 10 sec. It came back to my thought's what she wanted from me. The first time in my holiday, it was the farest, and the most time the hardest for me to speak and to understand ever in my life, but I came back safe and sound.
I speak a little latin as well, do you understand this? Quid hoc rei est

Well, I can't say I like Elvis. I think all of the hoop-la that surrounds him burned me out on him when I was little. You must have liked the fake Elvis people in Vegas, did you not?

Nope can't say I understand it. It looks similar to some of the spanish I have learned but still can't come up with anything. So what does the above translate to?

It is snowing like mad here. So far there is 4 inches on the ground. Its beautiful but too cold. I think today it was near 25 degress.

OH! I am so mad!!!! Someone hacked into my laptop and erased EVERYTHING!!! I lost all my pictures I had stored on there and many important documents. My husband has been working on it all weekend and it wont work right. I can't get the internet on it at all. If only I had a way to find out who it was so I could hunt them down like a deer. LOL!!! It was you wasn't it??? JK

Time for dinner...my favorite sport, hee hee....

Hi Abbi,
Yes, the dancers around Elvis in the movies move a little strange, but I have almost all of his movie-songs on a tape, so that can't bother me much and the movies I had to erase cause at this time I recorded other movies on the cassettes.
I listen to everything that sounds good, I loved the song from MichJagger sweat love or to Avril Lavigne Skaterboy or to KylieMinogue love at first sight……
Today I had a really good feeling the entire day, I don't know why. But that's for sure, I look a bit ridiculous with the cap I brought from Norway, but it is cute I think, and if someone from my company read this lines, they instantly know it's me.
You had the weather that what I would like here. Then I could ski, cross over that's my fave, but no snow no skiing. ****.
Quid hoc rei est means, what is happening here, well more or less cause I have to translate it in english too, but oh well.
That's really sad if you lost some data from your computer, I can imagine that cause one time I was working like a wild on it and it crashed down and the entire work from an hour was lost.
I get hungry too.

Hello Abbi and Quick!
Well I'm home for the holiday I just love Thanksgiving, well any holiday that I can spend with my family is awesome! I just got done helping Mom with babysitting some of the kids. Those being my nieces and nephews- her grandkids. They're so cute but they can wear a person out fast! Today was a rather sad day for me, I had to turn in all of my fire gear back to the forest service because I'm not working there next year. Oh well, hopefully God will open up an even better job for me next summer. I hope ya'll are doing well! Have a Happy Thanksgiving Abbi!

I read all your lines, sorry that I don't had started to talk with you earlier, but when I did last time everything was ended. But I hope you can forgive me.
Well, well, it looks that you have much to do at home with all the cows and horses. I started a habit to bring the horses and the rabbits carrots after I had done my chores. I talk from chores, but in fact it is only to drive the droppings of the horses to the heap. Do you do any chores at home? Are the work on the farm chores for you?
Today I made my final decision where to go next, but I think I can't do it all by myself, so I had to go to the travel-agency again. When you travel, did you all the paperwork or are you going to the travel agency, too?
As you have doubtless read I love every kind of music that does sound good, but my fave is classic and hard rock. What kinds of music do you like?
