Pizza

Hey there Quick,
Ok, you have an intresting idea of a tasty pizaa. I have never heard of anyone putting asparagus o egg on their pizza, but hey, to each their own right? LOL!

The last time I was in a movie theatre was probably close to 4 years ago. I think I saw "What Women Want" with Mel Gibson. I don't like to the movie theatre, I get sick from the smell of the popcorn. I love staying home and renting movies though. The last one I saw was "Chicago" and has become one of my favorites.

So, what are some of the cultural differences between the US and Germany? Was there anything about the US you really liked that is different from Germany? Anything you really hated? (dont worry I won't get offeneded, hee hee)

Is it true dogs are allowed in most restaurants and public places? I love animals and I wich I could take them every where I went, but here in the US very few places allow it.

Well, time to sign off, it is getting late (1:23 AM). Talk to you later,
Abi

Servus Abi,
Here out in the (rural) country, we could dogs bring to restaurants, but I don't know if it is seen with pleasure. We don't have a dog for 12 years, but I remember that we could her take it with us. But in big stores they must stay outside as well.
Oh, I like the movie theatre a lot, I saw the second starwars 7 times (one time without paying, hehe). I saw What women wants as well, I don't know how I should judge it. The main topic for me is the language, it`s most time in English of course. I saw Chicago too and it surprised me a lot. It is totally different from the movies playing during the year, but I also liked it (2x)
What I like of USA:
I like their breakfasts and I like the people, their much friendlier than here in Germany. And I like the sights and the land, there are much more wild living animals than here in Germany. And I like the language, of course.
Do you speak any languages like french or japanese?

Chiao

Well it looks like I'm a bit behind in the conversation. I had a great weekend though. Got to go home and spend time with my family. My oldest nephew lost another tooth. I am very excited for thanksgiving break coming up, a whole week to do nothing but have family and friends time. Of course I should do some homework and write a couple papers, but that would be productive and one isn't supposed to do things productive over vacation. Abby, you really have never ridden a horse? Oh that's sad. I think I was riding before I could walk! I used to rodeo, barrel race and all that jazz It was fun times! But as I got older I didn't have the time to ride any more

My first novel was about a young woman who had to try to make it on her own in 1870's Oregon. She fights with depression and feeling seperated from God, and budding feelings for the new marshall who helps her see that God hasn't moved, she has. Looking back I see that it was quite predictable and not very mature in the writing process, but hey I was 15.

Right now I'm researching for a new novel that will hopefully be a start of a series. I want to follow a family(a fictional family) from 15th century Scotland, immigrating to Ireland in the 18th century, and then on to America during the potato famine. Hopefully I will follow one child of every generation vaguely incorporating the other family members, but only focusing on the one. I hope to end it sometime in the 1990's but that may be a tad ambitious. Oh well, think big, right?

Well I hope that God does lead you to Scotland! He does know best May He bless you abundantly and give you better weather than we're having here in Pullman.

Hi Quick

How are you doing? I had a bad day, I guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed...just pissy. At least it's almost over.

I speak a little Spanish, not much though. I took Spanish in school for 4 years but I didn't retain much. I have always wanted to learn Latin and French. Most of all I want to learn sign language. What all do you speak? Did you learn English in school? In AZ it is mandatory to take a minimum of 2 years Spanish to graduate.

What is the typical German cuisine? Germans eat a lot of sausage right? So what was your favorite breakfast item here in the US? I loooove pancakes and bacon, mmmm, now I am hungry, LOL!

I am going to go eat now...Have a good day/evening!
Abi

HI Mayrah

How is your day going?

Glad to hear you had a good weekend. So what are you doing for Thanksgiving?

I love how you like researching, I too am a researcher by nature. I find it relaxing, sad but true, hee hee.

Your next book sounds quite intresting. I would love to hear how it pans out when you are finished.

Nope, never ridden a horse. I am deprived, jk, LOL.

Do you have any animals?

All right I am off to eat, lol...
Abi

roast

Hi Abi,
I had almost a good day, almost, that's why I can't step out of my bed in the morning, today I was a half hour late in the job, so I had to work longer today. But in the job it was funny at all. When I can work with my computer and it doesn't reject me of a drawing, I feel lucky at all times (and when I'm invented to a beer, hehee)
A typical German cuisine is a roast pork, well it is more Bavarian, but it is a food I don't really like, but for my father there is no better food. Don't understand me wrong. I always eat what mother cooks, but roast pork is not my fave.
My fave breakfast are beans and in general the warm cooked bacon, pancake and sausage in the morning. I am a totally other man when I have eaten this, cause at home mom never cooks, except of eggs and ham, in the morning.
I learned English in the school and I thought I was prepared to USA, but I was wrong, that I realized at the first words a US said to me. After then I tried to translate Elvis-Songs, but I got soon a book that I have translated and here I am.

Bye for now

Quick
