Hiya,

Don't worry about not being Scottish or taking up my time, it's really interesting to hear other people's opinions and thoughts on Scotland.

Good for you learning to play the Bagpipes and trying to speak Gaelic, as I said before, difficult language to learn!

Whereabouts in Scotland did you come to?

Talking Ciamar a tha sibh?

(About the only thing that I know are the basic formalities!)

Anyway - last November my mother, sister and I stayed in Edinburgh. We spent time there on Prince's Street, High Street, saw Edinburgh Castle. Then we took day trips out of Edinburgh and saw Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, Stirling, Stirling Castle, and we took a train up to Inverness to see the Culloden Battlefield. The train ride up to Inverness was gorgeous! and the Trossachs were beautiful.

I'm hoping to come over and study for a semester during my sophomore year of college. (I'm a freshmen now). My college has a exchange program with a couple of schools in Edinburgh...

Thank you for writing back!

Christine

Talking My pleasure

I agree, the Trossachs are beautiful, I have been there a few times as with Edinburgh, Stirling, etc LOL.

If you are a freshman, what age does that make you? We don't have freshman/sophomore's over here! What are you studying at the moment?

Do you have family over here or do you just happen to like Scotland?

Hi!

Im not Scottish either, but really love Scotland. I'll be moving there beginning of next year, cos I have a scottish boyfriend. We just spent 2.5 weeks there and I really didnt wanna go home.

We did a lot, went to a lot of places and sites, but there is so much more to see and do. Just had my pics developed (no digital camera yet) and I can look at them all day.

Can't wait to go back there and see more of the country
