sorry about that I thought that we had left already. Well, If you haven't left yet then I will do what I can to reply to you when I can. That sounds kind of dumb, since that is all anyone can do is reply when they can.

I didn't do the promotion today. I am trying to get some rank for both of my soldiers and to get the C.O. from the unit that I am attached to here to do it. IT is starting to be a hassle but I will know more about it tomorrow.

Things have are just hot as usual over here. The civilian contractors have taken over the chow hall so that has gotte alittle better. Now if only they can get some air conditioning in the building then every thing will be a whole lot better. At least you only have to wait in line for about 10 minutes to get in the door. I have seen longer and slower lines so I am not complaining too much about this one.

Oh thank goodness I'm FREE!!!!! No work for 3 whole days three days just for me oh happy happy joy joy!!!!
of all things i guess they don't want yu to be to comfortable and lets face it they are not very fast at doing things are they. by the time yu leave they might have put an air conditioner in your building for the next group to enjoy.
Wow it is hot here today and i guess it is suppost to be like this for the 4th!

Sorry that I didn't get back to you earlier. I have had a few issues to deal with over here. Things are kind of squared away now but I will take care of what I can when I can.

So, I guess that you should either be back by now or be on your way. Either way welcome back and that I hope that you made it back safe and sound.

Things are pretty much the same over here...HOT!!! YOu are probably right when it comes to the air conditioning around here. They have work orders in to get that and the lights and the electricity fixed in the building that we are staying in but they have been in for over 2 months now so I am not holding my breath for them to get completed. For now I have to settle for taking a cold shower ever few hours when I am off shift so that I can be cool at least for a while.

Hi Rob yep I'm back and had a wonderful weekend of course any day I don't have to be at work is great!
Isn't that the way the military works they are in no hurry to make you comfortable. At least you have water to cool off with.
Didn't see any fire works only mother natures version.
Lost power to and I know it was really early in the morning before it was restored. That all happened on the 4th. Luckly it all took place in the evening and it didn't spoil our day in Indiana.
We had a thunder storm this morning and I was hoping that the power would go at work but no such luck. Oh well maybe the next time I can only hope any way.

I am back. It sounds like your little vacation, if you want to call it that, went pretty well. sorry to hear that the power went out. Although, I am having to deal with a couple of power outtages over here every day. One for the power to the base and one for the generator that is running out side. Every time that I try to watch something the power goes out right in the middle of it. I just can't win.

Oh my the power grimlines must be doing over time work it sounds like.the little pest do like to cause havic when your really getting into a movie and show even the computers are their favorite electric gizmo, espically when your in a hurry at work and the thing goes down.
I must admitt that i was beginning to worry about you since i hadn't heard from you in a while i know that you are not in the most safest place right now. so i was glad to get your email. hope that you are not working too hard.
this past weekend was great the weather was beautiful and no hunidity perfect to just sit outside and watch the sun sink to the west and watch the lightening bugs blinking in the twilight.

the weather here in london has been great,really hot and for the 1st time ever i have a colour!
life is good my end and work is keeping me busy.
