And, yes... we have some fairs here... but they are mostly not Renaissance, but more medieval...
You can buy bows and arrows, armour and all kinds of other stuff...

Dirk! I am still here. The hubby hasn't come home yet! But he will soon and I am so addicted to this stupid computer, it is hard for me to get off.

Some lass will grab you I am assured! You are still a sweet young thing. Hey! I was 30 when I got married! You are probably falling over by now!

You have medieval fairs? I would go to those! I would love them! What do you do at those. Do you have booths where you can buy stuff and games and stuff. That is what we have at our Renaissance festivals. I just love them. When I was younger, I used to get season tickets to them cause they lasted for six weekends in a row and I went to every one of them!

I went to a medival fair at a kindergarten with my neice ealier this year, we had a heaps of fun, the pendragons were giving displays with all the weapons, fighting, costums and acting in character, my neice had a ball one of the knights tried to make off with her.....lol

They are usually in our castle...
and I know a way around the entrance-gates... call me bad, but since I have to pay for everything else, I can´t see why I should pay for entrance... (the dark spot on my else shining armour...)

You can buy crockery, watch the jugglers, listen to the music and watch the fights... then there´s medieval food, instruments and clothing to buy...
They usually won´t last longer than a weekend, though...

I am glad you are addicted as well to the computer, I have this running while I work makes my day go faster and more fun

Your Renaissance festivals sound like a lot of fun going for six weekends, ours are normally only for a day or a weekend, the clubs have events all the time but they are normally in the middle of nowhere, I am only just learning to drive now so hopefully I will catch some more of there events before I go to the UK.
