mmh, i would say that my last post has nothing to
do here anyway...

since i'm just about to post here, i also could tell
you a little bit more about me.

ok. i was born and still live in paderborn, which
lies in western germany. at this time, i'm studying
informatics at the local university and i'm only a
half year away from getting my bachlor.

as i mentioned before i like to read crime fiction,
but i'm also a great fan of radio plays and the old
science fiction series »dr who« -- unfortunately i
haven't much episodes yet.
my favorite music style is jazz (mostly modern
jazz like silje nergaard, diana krall, till brönner, ...),
but i also listen to the top 40, r&b, dance, sound-
tracks, ...

if i'm in the mood i make pencil or crayon drawings
or make use of my water- and acryl colours. some-
times i also layout flyers, invitations, ...

another one of my interests are board games
especially the old ones or such made from wood.
i like them more than computer games and playing
them together with friends sitting around a large
table make much more fun as a pc game ever could.
so if anybody knows a got one please tell me.

there're much more interests like riddles, stage
plays, ...

I was in Germany for a while before we movied here. We lived in Vilseck. I really liked it there. Now we live in Texas where it is very hot.
You are more than welcome to join the Im Back thread. That is where I am most of the time. There are lots of great people there. I hope you join us. If not you are more than welcome to e-mail me anytime you want to.

Hello Mervyn

Well Vilseck is an American Military post. My dad was stationed there. Its about 30 min from Graf. My dad got stationed again in Georgia so we moved back here. We lived in Vilseck for about 4 yrs. I loved it. We used to have Octoberfest in the back yard. There was a huge field so that is where the carnival was.
We also lived in Weisboden(sp???) when I was 4. My brother was born there. We moved back to the states a couple of yrs later.
Sometimes I miss it there. I am more of a cooler weather person. I like snow at christmas time and everything. Havent had that since we left Germany. There have been a few chirstmases that everyone was running around wearing tank tops and shorts.

Well I hope all is well. Dont work too hard.
