Glad to hear it!!
Not really got much planned at the mo over Xmas and New year. Got a couple of family house party type things to go to over new year , always nice I'll and see distant family I hardly know!! and Ill probably arrange a few other things. I love this time of year. Yeah mostly go out in Edinburgh. Not as much as I used to mind you. The hangovers kicked in now im in my 20's!! Dont have a "local" as such. Try to avoid the horrible "trendy" over priced new bars on George St, of course! Dont really go out in the town where I live these days, lost touch with folk and they are mostly dead anyway ( thats the pubs not the people!! oops) What about you ? mostly Glasgow? have you got much time off work 2 celebrate or rest up? |

Hi my name is Mary I m 29 years old and live in Amrica. I feel like I was born in the wrong place at the wrong time. GO FIGURE! The thing in life I want more than anything in this world is to live in Scotland.I have studied the history as far back as the viking era. It seems it is not only in my blood , but in my soul , heart , and any and all the fibers of my earthly body . I even believe my soul came from Scotland and is trapped here. I believe I was from Sky. I hear the songs call me and the winds weep my tears of the long and lost love of a home that is denied me. I know I must soud strange . But. truelly I am not. I just feel lonley and lost . Please feel free to write back if I did not scare you half to death, for I know I come on A bit strong but that is part of my personality. I do not mense words and am very straight forward. Please forgive me if I sound rude but in no way am I. In need of a mutualfriend with the same intrest...... yours truely, mary (may-may)

Hi there......
Hey Chalky.... Hope all is well on your end. I just happened to log back onto the sight for the first time in a while and saw your post, so I thought I'd say hi. I'm a 24 F from Seattle WA, USA who happens to love Scotland. With any luck I'll be visiting her for myself in 2003. Anyhow... If ya ever wanna chat/talk about whatever, drop a line as I'm usually around.
Until then, -L |

Hi, all my life I have always wanted to visit Scotland. My great-aunt was a nanny for an upscale family there back in the 60's and 70's. She had alot of great pictures and told me numerous stories. I am 36 and still haven't gotten to visit, but I will. I love football and alot of other sports also. Would love to hear about everything and anything you want to discuss.
