Hi. Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying this. I'm a new member. I posted once in the penpals & have received several replies. It's so interesting to read things from people all over, but it's very special the love everyone has for Scotland. I am in the reading/research phase and will someday soon be visiting.

I hope your plans to visit Scotland work out, it's a wonderful place to visit and I wouldn't mind living there! LOL

Thank you for the welcome. I live in Minnesota. I have heard Oregon is a beautiful state also. My son was stationed out of Seattle Wash. He loved the Northwest coast, and would love to move back there. I hope this gets back to you, I'm not real sure how to reply back to someone thru' this. Please let me know, so I know if I'm doing it right. OK??

Oregon and the entire Pacific Northwest is very nice. Seattle and all the Willamette Valley gets a great deal of rain. We are quite a lot drier and higher here. We get snow, tourists and mud! (The 3 seasons!) LOL
