Had a look at your posts as well as your message to me in penpals. You'll get speedy replies from people on your side of the Pond but us poor Scots are 8 hours ahead of you so you'll have to allow for the time difference when you're waiting for replies.
You should find there's plenty going on here at S.com and it does matter which board you go to you'll find plenty friends. I generally stick to the guestbook for everyday chat/gossip.
Just chuck in a subject and I'm sure you'll get some kind of response from somewhere in the world. The people here are from all over the place.
