Welcome Voelkmann! There are some very nice Germans here at s.com and I hope you all have a chance to meet! One thing I really admired about Europe was all the buildings, I wish we in the USA would keep ours and not knock them down just because they are old! Good luck in your building venture in Scotland!

I just returned to the US from Scotland and was amazed at the Architecture there. I don't think I came across an ugly building the entire time I was there. I envy those of you that get to see her beauty year round. Guess that means, I'll just have to go back soon.
