Hi there,
Welcome from Glascae toon - Not enuf Scots here?? Have to change that - I don't mind having a ceilidh or 2 to welcome you all - whatever nationality! The more kilts though the better - Scots Girls like them too - I know from me liking them! Only 1 problem - Our arms will never reach from 1 end of America to the other side of Europe when we have to say goodbye and "Auld Lang Syne" ashamed to say that I didn't know more than the 1st verse and the chorus - so I looked it up for all of us. White-Tiger Amazing Grace Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne! Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear, For auld lang syne. We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet, For auld lang syne. And surely ye'll be your pint stowp! And surely I'll be mine! And we'll tak a cup o'kindness yet, For auld lang syne. For auld, &c. We twa hae run about the braes, And pou'd the gowans fine; But we've wander'd mony a weary fit, Sin' auld lang syne. For auld, &c. We twa hae paidl'd in the burn, Frae morning sun till dine; But seas between us braid hae roar'd Sin' auld lang syne. For auld, &c. And there's a hand, my trusty fere! And gie's a hand o' thine! And we'll tak a right gude-willie waught, For auld lang syne. For auld, &c. |

Quite Correct
I was getting a bit tired there obviously! - Meant Auld Lang Syne - and I hope that is what I wrote - let me go back and check. - When I grabbed it of the web I realised that I hadn't taken its title, so went back, and obviously wrote the wrong name at the top - Sorry! White -Tiger |
