Question Bacon, anyone? OAO?

Avast ye! Erm, that is- unfortunately I have no CLUE what the term 'Avast ye' actually means. I THINK it could be referring towards what Pirates used to say as a sort of greeting, though I could be sorely mistaken. O3O~<3!! WHY HULLO THAR- is more or less what I was trying to say. In any case- I tend to ramble off about the littlest and most insignificant of things a lot, so please- bare with me. My name is Kelly- I was born and raised in Canada, and NO, I was NOT born in an Igloo. I was born in British Columbia, NOT Nunavut- they don't have permafrost there, so it would be rather difficult to make an Igloo out of water. Though I'm the type who would probably freeze giant ice cubes and attempt this anyways, to be sure. I moved from B.C at a young age to Alberta, so I consider myself a hardened Albertan more than anything else. RIGHT! ONWARDS, TO OZ! Or... to the point, per se. eUe;;

I have recently discovered an uncanny love for Scotland, hence the reason of my gracing you with my unwanted extraordinary presence! Though- to be honest, I barely know anything ABOUT Scotland. That is, weather patterns wise, time wise, and just the little things. So I beg of you, kind sirs and ladies- please forgive my mildly unintelligent questions, for I am liable to ask the most ridiculous of things. I ask you to bare with me and- should you feel the need- answer me in either a kind manner OR hit me over the head with a large stick. People generally tend to chose the latter of the options. ;; A ;;;!! ANYHOO~! I recently deleted ALL my old accounts on everything- and all my contacts on the things I wanted to keep... so Skype. If you wish to Skype me, I'd love to have a chat! Though I probably wont Video chat with you unless I have given my approval for the sate of my hair. And no, I'm not into doing anything inappropriate, I mainly enjoy video chatting as a way for me to show people some cool things from Canada. If you wished for something else, I suggest you quit while you're ahead. I have a reputation to keep up, my good friend. And I intend to use my Skype for the people here as a learning opportunity for both myself and others.

ANYHOO TIMES TWO~! The meaning of me telling you this is as follows: I plan to make this my new main social networking site. Make new friends, talk to new people, learn new things about Scotland and share what little I know, which happens to just be a small part of my heritage. For you see, I am a Campbell. 8D~<3!! On my Father's side. My Grampa has the cutest Scottish accent, and he's 91 years old, having taken part in World War Two- so I have a couple stories to share should you like to hear them.

Right then! My posts always tend to be SLIGHTLY long winded./BRICK'D. But It's very nice to meet you all! Oh, And I think I'll start off by asking one of the dumb questions floating around amongst my brain- Ahem, here goes nothing<3!!

Does it snow in Scotland? Please tell me it doesn't. If it does, please tell me it doesn't snow there like it does here in CANADA. >A<!!! Thanks~!

(( Other tid bits- I'm seventeen, turning eighteen in February, and I like to use lots of Emoticons. Merely because I'm a Fine Arts student and the lack of emotion and expression presented through the bland pixels that form common text is absolutely dreadful. =A=))

""Avast: Stop, cease or desist from whatever is being done. From the Dutch hou' vast (“hold fast”), from houd (“hold”) + vast (“fast”). ""
