Hello, folks!

The name's Rebecca. While I have known for quite some time that I do have Scottish blood, I just recently found that I descend from three Scottish clans: Wallace, Stewart, and Rose. I'm a bit of a genealogy freak. I've been known to sit at a computer for hours and hours without a break, just finding out who I'm related to. It's fascinating who you can find! I even found myself several Swedes in my line.

I also am fond of music. I have been playing piano since I was five. I compose many songs. Of late, I have drawn inspiration from nature, Runrig, Loreena McKennitt, and other Celtic artists.

I draw a lot. I draw mainly people, because that is the only thing I can do well, but I'm teaching myself how to draw the things I love the most: mountains, bodies of water, trees, clouds, and lighthouses. My grandma first taught me how to draw, and I've been teaching myself ever since. My profile picture is one of my drawings. In fact, it is an accurate self-portrait. I will post some of my drawings if you ask nicely.

My favorite...
Colors: blue, white, silver, black, brown, green
Flower: Wildflowers
Band: Runrig
Singer: Donnie Munro
Movie: Titanic
Food: lobster (Maine lobster is the best)

Weird things about me:
- While all others run for shelter, I'm the idiot standing out in the middle of the field watching the storm come in.
- I'm not one to flinch during a particularly gory horror movie. In fact, I laugh, because most often, the acting sucks.
- I mumble in Gaelic when I'm bored.
- I can eat while watching a graphic surgery on YouTube. And enjoy it.

Awesome things about me:
- I can hit something dead center (with a gun) 100ft. away with sights, 50ft. without sights. Still trying to master the bow and arrow.
- Largest gun I've ever shot was an M-4.
- I have a tendency to see the details, before I see the obvious.

Well, now you know a little bit about me.

P.S. - I now know for a fact that Nessie exists. I saw her with my own eyes on Google!

Smile Hello and Welcome

You sound like a very talented individual. I, too, have Scottish ancestors. Their names were Calhoun or Colqhuinn. I used to be able to draw people from a picture but it's been years since I've tried it so don't know if I still can. I would love to hear you play the piano. I love music. Especially classical.
