The Rabid Blogger

Hello, everyone! I'm an 18 year old girl from Arkansas and have loved Great Britain for so long. I'm saving up now to take my first trip there this fall (fingers crossed and praying hard!).

For over a year I've been blogging about Scotland at Picture Britain. It's been a great way to familiarize myself with the country, culture, and cuisine of this fantastic land!

Whilst you've got many pretty photies of Scotland (well, apart from Lizzie2) - it's all a bit shortbread tin, ie not much about the real Scotland

Yes, Polwarth, I have to admit that I do tend to include only the most "photogenic" parts of Scotland. However, I think I've risen to your challenge with a couple of posts here and here.

HaHa! That's pretty funny to read. I suppose that the grass really does look greener on the other side, no matter what side you're on.

My little part of Arkansas is very rocky (hard to grow things sometimes), the home of Walmart (world's largest retailer), full of bluffs, hills, tiny towns, and podunk hillbilly houses. An interesting part of the world, to be sure, but hardly romantic. You could get a taste of my life here at my personal blog.
