Im in love with scotland
Hello everyone, I'm from California San Francisco Bay area. the sky is always blue and there is always something to do. Last January I spent 5 months in Comnock Scotland life was slower but I fell in love with the East Ayrshire country side. I have never seen anything so beautiful as the country side in Scotland and the people are really friendly. I have been home for 5 weeks and my heart is braking I fell like I left home rather the came back home. I have made up my mind that I want to move. So now I am looking at how I'm going to do it. wish me luck.......

There are quite a few Americans and Canadians who have moved to Scotland,it is indeed a lovely country.I,m a native Scot and even though i,ve spent almost 40 years of travelling in this country there are still many more places to see.All the best,Tam.

Hi, I'm Mary. New to this site. I would love to visit Scotland (almost got a chance once 20 yrs ago). I get mixed info about the people in Scotland though, especially their attitude towards people from USA. I'd still like to go because the land is pretty. And I hope to see men wearing the kilt. hehe

Americans in Scotland
I like folk from the US. I made a friends on a forum called Scotster back in January 2009, they have been twice to Scotland and on both occasions I have shown them around my hometown Edinburgh, the Isle of Skye and the Highlands. Here's a short video of the 2nd trip, which my friend drove this time, taking in Kilmartin Glen and Applecross.
