still in kansas....

i am a Kennedy and my ancestors are from Paisley, and one day i would like to visit there.Okay, the truth is, i am obsessed with my ancestry,to a point.like the point that i can't afford to get there.maybe one day, huh?
anyhow,hello to all.
my family, starting with Matthew, came to America around 1785.Followed by his brother,Thomas, who became a Maryland legislator. If any cousins care to respond,i would be thrilled.pictures and any information about their parents William and Grizzell would be a major plus.

I suspect that any rellies would not be posting here as most of the members here are Americans!

Why don't you try Scotland's People, the GRO site for births/deaths/marriages in Scotland?

Aint what something?

This is an American owned site - and only a very few of the membership here are Scots.

Sadly, it's NOT!

Those of us who ARE Scots (including me) are very thin on the ground.. but if you pose a question, we'll certainly try to give you an answer
