Hi everyone, I was googling my ancestors, the Henry/Hendry family of the Isle of Arran, and this site popped up! That's when I knew I had to join!

I have so many Scottish ancestors, and genealogy is one of my passions. I also love history, and reading about the places where my ancestors lived, so I was thrilled to find this site!

I look forward to learning a lot about beautiful Scotland (which I dearly hope to visit one day) and to meeting lots of cool folks--Scottish or otherwise --and making plenty of new friends!

Hi there BonnieGal, and welcome! Where in South Carolina are you? I was born there but don't remember much about it. (My dad was stationed at Shaw AFB, then was transfered to San Diego just before my little sister was born, hence, I grew up on the west coast.)
