Hello

Hi Everyone

I'm moving to Scotland, Kilbirnie to be precise, in July. We already have a small place there and will be driving through from Spain at the end of June, stopping off to see relatives and friends in England on the way.

My family are originally from the Greenock/Port Glasgow area but I haven't lived there since I was 5 and know no-one in Kilbirnie apart from our next door neighbours so if there's anyone on here within shouting distance it would be good to talk

Cassandra

Hiya Cassandra,

I'm nowhere near shouting distance, as I'm from Peterhead.

It's a pity you have to come through England to get to your destination though.

Ah, this is the England comment you referred to elsewhere! Sad but necessary, we have family in England who must be visited

Oh if you know your next door neighbours, well, that's a start, eh? I don't know Kilbirnie, (or any much of Ayrshire ), and neither do I know Greenock/Port Glasgow at all and I would have to shout VERY LOUDLY from here in Glasgow, but if you want me to shout in July, just tell me when.

Let's hope someone nearer to Ayrshire might happen along. (I don't know if we have any such person, but you never know). If I can be of help , let me know, otherwise, just tell me when to shout a welcome home to you.

Thanks Celyn, I will. We'll not be all that far from Glasgow, can do Braehead shopping centre in 25 minutes
