Ignoring the previous shananigans, I'd like to ask if you all knew about the different regions of England and their local identities.. I would assume so with telly and all, could you point out the different accent from listening to conversations etc ?

Or do you all think we are the bowler hat wearing, mustaschio'ed tea and crumpets at noon type ?

Spiffing chaps!

Naw, cannae lad, I can certainly tell the differences between various English accents. Mind you, I lived in London for a while and we kept a boat in Cornwall for the best part of 20 years.

We don't allow the border to make us insular, ken? And anyway, everyone KNOWS the English eat crumpets at 4.00 o'clock, not at noon.

Good, ah hate the thought of bein lumped in wi London and Leeds etc

It's all southern to me.. with nice posh accents and lots of money, mind you though, yous have plenty of money ower the border eh? Then again the north east of England has the lowest GDP in the UK, we make Norn Iron look like Dubai.
