Looking for my clan

Hi, does anyone know anything about the Farr clan? I am also looking for other Farr's. I am also a Scott clan member, looking for them too!

Hello
As far as I know, Farr is not a clan - but it is the name of a place in Caithness which may be where your family originated?

The name itself is from the Norman name Farrar, which was introduced into England at the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066. The name seems to have been centered in Yorkshire.

Not all names in Scotland are clans or even septs of clans.

Hi there Jason, you might wish to post in the Clans forum. There may be some who visit there who may not come in the new members section, who may offer you some additional help.

Yorkshire, not too Farr from Scotland!
