Hello
As far as I know, Farr is not a clan - but it is the name of a place in Caithness which may be where your family originated? The name itself is from the Norman name Farrar, which was introduced into England at the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066. The name seems to have been centered in Yorkshire. Not all names in Scotland are clans or even septs of clans. ![]() |
