I'm not actually one of the new kids on the block per se but I am new here.

My cousin introduced me to this site and a few others on Scottish culture and history. He's also letting me use his pc so I better behave in case I get him banned or his address or whatever it was he was on about. By the way don't ask me who my cousin is as he's sworn me to secrecy on that!

So, to introduce myself, my name is George and I am from Dunfermline in Fife. My family are mostly from Fife but my grandparents on my dad's side came over the Forth from Edinburgh. I actually think my granddad was the ferry operator at one time or at least the way he told the stories you would think he was.

Well, thats me. Hope to get to know you all soon. GK

Its not my brother's computer I was using, its my cousins. My work brings me through to where he stays quite a bit, but as I get to work flexible hours I pop in to see him, steal more of his books and drink all his coffee. I also make the most of getting on the computer here as his broadband is a bit faster than mine back home!

well,it's typical to do things like this to family.I mean...why else do we have them?
I couldn't agree more with drinking his coffe though...I am a caffeine addict myself.
So how do you kill time?

Welcome, George! Yes, f-a-m-i-l-y is best used for exchange of books and coffee!
