Not new, returning in short spurts

Healthwise has been less than great for the last few years but Papworth have me on the correct dosage of medication now and I am just awaiting word to go in for the fitting of a Pacemaker. Its nice to see some of the old names still in here but sad to see some have gone.

Hello, Doddy! I do remember you - big welcome back! I'm sorry to hear about your health problems but I'm glad it sounds as though things are getting under control and a bit better.

You just got me remembering when my uncle had a pacemaker put in. Of course, he was still in rather a bad way for a wee while after, but he was determined to get a wee bit better every day. And I've just done the arithmetic and realised (much to my shock) that his pacemaker was just over 30 years ago. Heck, those things must be good - I can't even buy a kettle or a telephone that lasts that long.

Wishing you all the best and I hope they get you to the head of the queue soon.. Will you post and let us know how things are going?

Yes, I know what you mean about missing some of the old names, but I suppose that's the way of things. I miss Explorer, Rachel, Neil Caple, and Iolair and others, and it's fun to see Willy back.

All the best for a speedy recovery!

And Hello to Patricia too. I'm not very sure if you have been quiet lately or if we have just not been on the same threads, but it's very good to see posts from you again. And that handy wee clock thingwie as well.

Hello to you too Celyn. I have been around but not posting so much. My job is hectic lately not enough hours in the day! Busy busy busy...

I miss all the friends I had here. I would love to hear from Rosemary she was the very first friend I made on Scotland.Com I think about Jamie too she was studying to become a nurse, I'm sure she has graduated by now. I think about them all, everyone. I suppose all good things come to an end, its very sad.

There is a wee clock Thing-A-Ma-Jig for you. You can put it on your signature if you wish. Don't worry if you don't I won't be annoyed.
