Greetings from Hamburg/Germany

Although its almost done - merry christmas!

My name ist Mike and I still remember the first time I visited Scotland in 1972 when I was a pupil. I was on hitch-hike from Hamburg to Loch Rannoch and it was amazing to me to meet so many nice and helful people in a fantastic landscape. From that time on I have to visit regularly Scotland - otherwise I drive crazy.

I would like to share ideas and thoughts with you. Please dont mind my poor grammar, however, I will try my best.

Hi Babz,

of course I have been in Aberdeen a few years ago, too. Last year we spent a fatastic week at the northcoast in Kirtomy and afterwards two weeks at Ardnamurchan. Since my children have visited Scotland in 2003 the first time (Loch Rannoch), they always want to go there - good for me...
We go by ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle. We always choose different locations to stay...

Hi,
it's a interesting one the "Oktoberfest" but you can see a lot another beautiful things in Germany like landscapes, old towns and heritage.

I would be grateful if you could give tips on places worth visiting in Scotland.
If you want tell me about you. Perhaps can we be pen-friends ?
