I see what you're saying Polwarth and having looked through the forum I see loads of examples! There are plenty strange characters out there and not just on this forum - people that see to live for the stereotype Scot and one of the questions I get asked most often is "do all Scots wear kilts?" The strangest character I ever "met" was a certain MacThunder - the self styled Rascal King of Clanranald who seems to think the nursery rhyme "Old MacDonald" is about the Highland Clearances! His name should really be MacMuppet - if you are ever in need of a good laugh his Proclamation always does the trick for me

This one seems to be a paranoid nutter. I mean, come on, Old MacDonald about the Clearances - or ethnic cleansing as he calls it! How hilarious is that?

Really funny - but not as funny as the African American who was sure that the 'Black' Douglas were a clan of Africans who'd settled in Scotland in the middle ages!!! I kid you NOT!

Oops, we're dragging this thread off topic - PM me if you want to keep the ball rolling about 'Bet I know a bigger nutter than the nutter you're talking about'!
