Hi again ArgyllChick... I realise that I am one of the culprits that stole your welcome thread from under you, but I also hope you join in... despite what some people might think, I'm not a crabbit person and like to chat with anyone that has a genuine interest in Scotland! So... do you forgive me?

Good luck with learning Gaelic... I tried studying the language, but not getting a chance to use it often kind of restricts that (and the fact that I was never that good at languages in the first place doesn't help!)
