Hi everyone!

I'm Jim, an ancient male, originally from NE Fife, but now in the USA.
Found this place in a google search, and it looks like it may be a nice
place to hang out online!

Hi there Jim and welcome to Scotland.com !!

What made you emigrate ??

I am an immigrant from England, although my parents are from Aberdeen now in Yorkshire !!

Thanks for the welcome, Victor!
Are you an Ex-pat also, or is it your heritage draws you in here?

Thanks also, Babz!
to answer your query:
I came over here, some 3 years back to wed my on-line sweetheart!
The emigration part was not easy, but was necessary as the UK's
immigration policy, at that time, was none too humane.

We've a wee lassie now, she's 20 months old, and shows signs of having a
fine Scots temper ...

I'm a Fifer - born and bred, from the nice, rural-ish part, known as
the Howe of Fife in the Lomond Hills' shadow.

I hope you're a patient woman! Even if you're in the Granite City
for 125 years, you'll likely still be known as an incomer...

Sorry that it's taken me a few days to get back to answering you guys,
but this d*mn 'life' thing keeps intervening in my online escapades!

- Jim

good day all,

I was hoping to find others on, it seems that in the 4 years since I was last here, there are fewer folks on this site, where oh where has everyone gone?

I hope to meet new friends in the near future??? I am also from the US, in a wonderful town by the name of Chattanooga, Tn. Working tonight in the ER of our trauma hospital, but wanted to take a moment to say hi. It's been a long night already. aintmisbhavn2
