I am of Scottish Descent & my husband was born in Scotland and came to NZ at the age of 6. We are looking forward to joing this forum & finding out lots of knowledge about Scotland. Merry Xmas to you all.

Hey Grannymum,

Where were you grow up exactly in Scotland. I'll travel to S in July and look very forward to it.
I was in NZ as well in 2000 and I had a blast of fun with my group there. I like the NZ-People, not even the looong flight shot me down and sometimes I have to do it as well. In fact NZ was the reason I joined the internet. But they moved the NZ.com to v-NZ.com and the most people don't know that. Even me, I found it a month ago, or so.

Hope I didn't rant to much

Its cold here today but at least the sun is shining, all our snow has gone !!

Has your hubby ever been back to the place of his birth ??

You just ask questions of us about Scotland and I am sure that you will
be replied to...not sure when though as its slow around here due to the
holiday !!
