Hey, folks! I'm new here, as well to ANY kind of message board, so please bear with me! The reason that I am really here is because I am researching moving to Scotland...SOON!!! I am currently in America and I have to tell you that the feeling of being driven to hell in a hand basket is getting stronger and stronger. It's as a bumpersticker that a friend of mine has..."I love my country, but fear my government!". Yep, folks, I could give some insight but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the big picture as to the imminent deconstruction of our illustrious 'land of the free?'. So, I will be posting in various 'rooms?' with lots of questions...get yourself a fresh pint and let's talk!! I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

What do you mean land of the free lol! I go over the border alot and you guys cost me money...I can hear that lil' bit of my Irish that's Scottish crying! When we come visit it ain't fear of pickpockets that cause us to hug our purses!
Welcome to the Board...OK my famous question....rolllll the drums! Are you married or single? Shoe size? lol!

...hipmommah, welcome to Scotland.com. As you will have already gathered they are all "nuts" in here. I often wonder where Babz finds the time to greet anyone what with her frequent trips to God's country, her love of choccy and her time spent on the other forums. lol Babz. I can only say that if you have any questions regarding almost anything then this is the place to ask them. Take care, happy postings, see you on the boards and most of all, have fun...

...thanks, All!! A bit 'o wee sarcasm in the 'land of the free' remark...quite actually feeling more and more SQUASHED!! That's where the decision came from to get back to where my heritage is...could be worse, most probably better! Either way, I figure the air in the Highlands to be easier to breathe!!

'Wild'- single Mother of extraordinary 2 yr. old (millenium baby, ya' know!)...and it's my daughter that has the HUGE feet!!!

Well, here I go...I'll see ya "out there"!
