Hi again Shirley.
My daughter Paulina, who is almost 10 and has special needs, loves No Doubt. Something about Gwen's strong voice, her exaggerated stage presence and the strong melodic quality of their music really reaches her. Paulina has difficulty with speech but can sing almost every song like a mimic.

Paulina will be 10 March 11. She was born in 1992. She is a joy to everyone who meets her. Once I get access to the proper computer stuff, I'll email you a picture if you want. I sent you an email recently, I don't know if you've seen it yet. I don't know how well you know Gwen, but if you're in touch with her, you could pass on how much my daughter loves her music. Thanks Shirley, talk to you soon.
P.S. Paulina also knows the words and music to every song ever done by the Beatles and the Backstreet Boys, and loves the string section of Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve.

Gwen
She went to my University, Cal State Fullerton, and my ex-boyfriend saw her play there when he went there, before No Doubt got so huge. They had been together for years before that and I understand she never finished school because she really didn't need to. My writing for visual arts teacher showed us a paper Gwen had written. I thought that was so cute. I never really loved their music, but I really like the newest song that's out...can't remember the name. Is the whole album like that??
