Smile My daughter loves them

Hi again Shirley.

My daughter Paulina, who is almost 10 and has special needs, loves No Doubt. Something about Gwen's strong voice, her exaggerated stage presence and the strong melodic quality of their music really reaches her. Paulina has difficulty with speech but can sing almost every song like a mimic.

Wow! That's awesome! I go to sleep every night listening to them. Their music is just so soothing. When's Paulina's birthday?

Cool My cool daughter

Paulina will be 10 March 11. She was born in 1992. She is a joy to everyone who meets her. Once I get access to the proper computer stuff, I'll email you a picture if you want. I sent you an email recently, I don't know if you've seen it yet. I don't know how well you know Gwen, but if you're in touch with her, you could pass on how much my daughter loves her music. Thanks Shirley, talk to you soon.

P.S. Paulina also knows the words and music to every song ever done by the Beatles and the Backstreet Boys, and loves the string section of Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve.

Your friend has a great taste in music! You must endevour to keep them away from the music of today! ( atleast steps have done the decent thing!) But each to their own.

Gwen

She went to my University, Cal State Fullerton, and my ex-boyfriend saw her play there when he went there, before No Doubt got so huge. They had been together for years before that and I understand she never finished school because she really didn't need to. My writing for visual arts teacher showed us a paper Gwen had written. I thought that was so cute. I never really loved their music, but I really like the newest song that's out...can't remember the name. Is the whole album like that??

The whole album is awesome! You have got to check it out! I can't speak highly enough of it. You really should go out and buy it.
