Hi Melin
I may be wrong but I remember a group called THE WOLFTONES in the 1970's who were very popular, an older group who sang folk songs. I know of them but never heard them sing. Lizwest |

The Wolfetones have been together foe over30 years and play the best celtic, folk and rebel songs. They are not a celtic rock band. For cletic rock check out 'the Horslips - the Tain'. Brilliant stuff.
Check out http://www.wolfetonesofficialsite.com for information on the boys. THey even did a version of that great classic 'Flower of Scotland'. I went to see them live recently. Magic stuff. |

hi minstrelboy! here we use to call celtic rock to all those bands who play celtic folks with electric guitars, bass and all that kind of stuff. in specialized shops that sells only celtic music you can fin wolfstones in the celtic rock section. you must know about these much more than i, cause i'm in america. and it's not so common to listen that kind of music. i'll take your recomendation, i'm goin'to here them, thanks about the info.
