Talking Danny Bhoy!

OMG! I love Danny Bhoy. He is sooo funny!

I am curious. What do the Scots think of him?

From the Oxford dictionary

twee: definition of twee in Oxford dictionary (British & World English)

Perhaps twee is not quite the word, perhaps pedestrian is mair the mark.

Traditionally, Scots enjoy gritty and/or ironic humour. Try Kevin Bridges, or oldies available on Youtube such as Chewin' the Fat sketches, or Billy Connolly in his early days, even.

I hadn't heard of him either! Thanks a million for that. Just watched him on Live at the Apollo on youTube. He's hilarious! "Apparently there's already a South Wales in Britain, so we need a new name . . . ."

I agree with Polwarth's suggestions - check out Kevin Bridges. In fact go on youTube and watch him on the Jonathon Ross show.
