A very sad loss to the Scottish music scene.

A lovely guy, known him since the mid-70's when he played in a band called Skeets Boliver. Saw him live a number of times, always entertaining and a 'couthy' man who engaged audiences wherever he went. Dundee has lost 3 musicians this year - Mick, Gus Foy and Dougie Martin - all well known within the local scene, and all highly respected. A sad loss, and very young (only 60 years).

It's a sad loss, all right.

I always fancied his "Hairmless" as a national anthem.
