Well, last night Bryan Adams performed here in Muscat to a capacity crowd. Okay, our capacity crowd isn't as big as Dubai or Abu Dhabi can manage, but still, there must have been 5-6,000 people there.

It was a really good night. I'm not a BA fan, but it was certainly worth going to it. I was amazed that i knew more songs of his than I thought I did !

The night before he was performing in Dubai, so it's a hop and a skip from there to here for someone on tour. Unfortunately, Dubai has slipped a bit as the prime venue since the recession and now Abu Dhabi is the place in the ME for pop/rock etc concerts. Yas Island (where Ferrari World, the World's biggest indoor theme park is situated) has a big open air auditorium for concerts etc.

Guns N Roses played in Yas Arena on Friday.

Justin Bieber sang there last month. The concert started early because he has to be in bed by 9.

ive seen loads of people who i didnt really like but liked their gigs.
i think people just get caught up in the atmosphere.

even lady gaga.....no matter what people say about the bad music, the bad singing and the bad clothes....that guy knows how to put on a show

Funny you should mention the Gagster, there's a lot of debate here in Oman about whether Lady Gaga is a Lady or a Lord !
