Surely by virtue of the word 'forum' - topics can be debated?

You have only recently come on here and seem to want to tell us natives what we should like (in terms of music).

We have TRIED to tell you that whilst she has a nice voice, she ain't all that (in the American vernacular). Why are you so aggressively sure that your view of the wee wumman is more correct than ours?

My point is that this is meant to be a discussion forum, not a forum where the only responses you want is from people who agree with you! Having said that, you've made it perfectly clear that you don't like people who have an opinion that doesn't match yours; like when we didn't all go on about how brilliant Susan Boyle is you replied:

As far as I'm concerned, you are the one that started the argument!

I'm not trying to argue with anyone. Is this an argument?
I am a Susan Boyle fan. It did surprise me that she seems to have so little support here, and that was a disappointment. That's what I've said -

If you don't like her, you don't like her, and you certainly have a right to your opinion. I think she's fantastic and I look forward to her hearing her sing more. She has the voice of an angel - I'm not the only person who thinks that... thousands of people do.

You might not be trying to argue with anyone, but your attitude has tended to make me (and at least one other) think otherwise... maybe you should consider what you are going to type and how it will come across before you sit at the keyboard!

No thanks, Scot, I don't want to analyze everything I write before I write something or start editing myself - I am not a critical person by nature, so I'm not really worried about hurting anyone. If I do offend someone because of how I think, so be it I suppose. Don't want to be walking on eggshells...
