Watching paint dry would be more interesting. And if you care to check the site you will see that most of us have participated in lots of more interesting threads than this one.

Don't know that I'd describe what I feel as obsession, just appreciation. And I cannot tell you why except that when I hear her sing, I get goosebumps. She has such a pure voice.

So, yes, I am one of her fans that's for sure!!! Maybe I should start another thread called 'For Susan Boyle Fans.'

People ask how the talent of Susan Boyle has gone undiscovered for so long but the fact is she has appeared regularly in charity events, talent contests etc. in West Lothian and central Scotland for some years and it hasn't been apparent to anyone that she was a potential global singing sensation even if she did have a good singing voice. I don't want to put a damper on what she has achieved but I just feel once the hype dies down over this one performance the limitations of her singing abilities might be exposed. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Why? So you can hear from like-minded people? That would result in a similar topic to your "I only want to hear from people who believe in the same religion as I do" topic! In other words:

TOTALLY POINTLESS!

Goodness, Scots, what is your point???
People do not have to disagree to discuss something -
Forums really aren't for debate or arguments, are they?
