Stop me when I start asking what your favorite foods are, okay?

These are lyrics that, where I'm at right now, touch my soul. The music and lyrics are by Loreena McKennitt. The musical instruments are the harp, keyboards, guitar, violin and cello. The song is on the CD called "Parallel Dreams."

Samain Night

When the moon on a cloud cast night
Shone above the tree tops height
You sang me of some distant past
That made my heart beat strong and fast
Now I know, I'm home at last

You offered me an eagle's wing
That to the sun might soar and sing
And if I heard the owl's cry
Into the forest I would fly
And in its darkness find you by

So the love's not a simple thing
Nor our truths unwavering
But like the moon's pull on the tide
Our fingers touch our hearts collide
I'll be a moonsbreath from your side

I've got her sampler cd. I get teary eyed when I hear the recorded version of "All the Pretty Little Ponies" aka "All the Pretty Little Horses". It was a woman singing it and it was on that show on CBS, JAG, and I don't know who she was.

Oh Than, I just love doing this. The group is one from Tibet. The name of the group is called "Current93." They have a website at www.brainwashed.com . I hope this helps. Check www.amazon.com to see if they carry their CD's. Good luck!!!

Well, I've got other favorites too. The above song is my mystical song. Let's see, I've got my "witch" song, by Stevie Nicks, "Gold Dust Woman." My song when I'm thinking about hexing someone (not telling who), I think about "Silver Springs." I love the part where Stevie sings "...the sound of my voice will haunt you..." Yep, those three are my favorites right now.

'The Chain' is my favorite of Fleetwood Mac's.
'And if you don't love me now, you will never love me again...'
Thanx Becca! How can I ever thank you?

This song has to be one of my most favorites.. written and performed by mettalica its as if they wrote it with me in mind... this song described me to a tee...

Unforgiven II

Lay beside me, tell me what they've done
Speak the words I wanna hear, to make my demons run
The door is locked now, but it's open if you're true
If you can understand the me, than I can understand the you

Lay beside me, under wicked sky
Through black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyzed
The door cracks open, but there's no sun shining through
Black heart scarring darker still, but there's no sun shining through
No, there's no sun shining through
No, there's no sun shining

What I've felt, what I've known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you

What I've felt, what I've known
Sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits for you
Or are you unforgiven too?

Come lay beside me, this won't hurt I swear
She loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again
She lay beside me, but she'll be there when I'm gone
Black heart scarring darker still, yes she'll be there when I'm gone
Yes, she'll be there when I'm gone
Dead sure she'll be there

What I've felt, what I've known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you

What I've felt, what I've known
Sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits for you
Or are you unforgiven too?

Lay beside me, tell me what I've done
The door is closed, so are you're eyes
But now I see the sun, now I see the sun
Yes now I see it

What I've felt, what I've known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you

What I've felt, what I've known
So sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits,
The one who waits for you

Oh what I've felt, what I've known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you (So I dub thee unforgiven)

Oh, what I've felt
Oh, what I've known

I take this key (never free)
And I bury it (never me) in you
Because you're unforgiven too

Never free
Never me
'Cause you're unforgiven too
Oh

Sapphire
