I spent many a night with Alistair in Ma Cameron's (and elsewhere) during the late 70s when he was based in Aberdeen working in the oil industry. I recall returning with him to a flat for a ceilidh when he fell asleep - but he still bowed an imaginary fiddle along to the music in the background !
