Known for his velvet voice, his guitar wizardry and thought provoking songwriting, Dick Gaughan is considered by many to be Scotland's premier singer. Born in Glasgow and raised in Leith, he has been on the road professionally for 25 years. During those years, he has played with prestigious bands such as Boys of the Lough, Five Hand Reel and Clan Alba. However, it is his solo work that is much sought after, and respected both by audiences and the folk music community. Gaughan's album 'Handful of Earth'
was voted 'album of the decade' by Folk Roots magazine. For further information, check out his website at http://www.dickalba.demon.co.uk/main.htm

Brian McNeill is a man of many talents: singer, songwriter, author and
multi-instrumentalist. But that listing hardly scratches the surface of a man who has made making music his life for the better part of 30 years. After his years with Scottish super group Battlefield Band, he
has worked with Clan Alba, the Celtic Fiddle Festival, and recently Kavana, McNeill, Lynch and Lupari. Add to that a brilliant solo career, and it's easy to see that McNeill's influence on Scottish folk music is
tangible. McNeill has also released two novels: 'The Busker' and 'To Answer the Peacock'. For more information, check out his website at http://www.brianmcneill.co.uk/
