This looks like as good a place as any!
(Hate to see it go to waste.)

So I guess in keeping with the theme of this "channel", I'd better say something about music, and then it can evolve into whatever we want (as usual!)

I am really susceptible to music and i almost always wake up with a song already in my head (dont know if it came from a dream or what). This morning's song-in-the-head was Big Country's "Come Back To Me"... about a girl watching out her window while the town celebrates the homecoming of a war hero, but her own man died in the war and isn't coming home:

The day they held a party
right out in the street
Flags & flowers & singing
for the home-come hero's treat.
I sat in the kitchen
without a fire on the range.
iknew this house had lost the cause
to ever make me warm again...

How's that for a wake-up song? Am i in for a depressing day, or what!

I hope you got that one out of your head before the day got too far gone.

Yeah, it did sort of fizzle after a couple of hours and a couple of mortgage interviews!

I'm glad to hear that.
Wonder how long it'll take everyone else to show up here. Also if dotcomstartup checked the email notification box. He'll be disappointed when he sees this.

Hi Dawn & T!

Dear Dotcomstartup,
Try my photojournalist friend at acephoto@aol.com She shoots for the London Daily Telegraph and does quite a lot of freelance work. In addition to stock photography, she has amazing access to a number of unique engagements. Her name is Amanda Edwards and she is an excellent photographer.
