News for fans of Andy M. Stewart

CONCERT UPDATE

SEPT 15-17: In the eleventh hour, arrangements have been made for Andy to get a U.S. work permit so that he can perform with Gerry O'Beirne at the Chicago Celtic Festival next weekend, September 15-17. Officials at the embassy in London had said there was no way it could be done in time, but the Mayor's Office of the city of Chicago contacted the U.S. immigration service to get special permission so that Andy can play the event.

Former Wizard Johnny Cunningham will also be performing at the Chicago Celtic Festival with Kevin Burke and Christian LeMaitre as the group Celtic Fiddle Festival.

The line-up for Saturday at Petrillo Music Shell, Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois looks like this:
4:00 pm...Lunasa
5:15 pm...Andy M. Stewart & Gerry O'Beirne
6:30 pm...Milladoiro
7:45 pm...Celtic Fiddle Festival

FEBRUARY TOUR:* Andy and Gerry will play venues in Holland in February of 2001. Exact dates are not available yet, but it will be posted on the web site soon.
