Talking

Hello, people.

Out Of Tune Afternoon
2-4pm on Thursdays at
http://www.fusion.strath.ac.uk

At Strathclyde university, Glasgow, I'll be broadcasting some smashing music, tomorrow, Thursday the 6th of April, between 2 and 4pm.

MY pal Kat normally DJs, and I work in the studio, but she's away for a couple of weeks, so it's me, Brian, who'll be doing the DJing.

You can regularly hear Scottish favourites such as bis, arab strap, the delgadoes, belle and sebastian, aereogramme, mogwai, primal scream, an' many other popular players in the Scottish music scene. (but not Travis.)

We also play some more eclectic stuff, like GodspeedYouBlackEmperor from Canada, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci from Wales, Sigur Ros from Iceland, Yo La Tengo from the US, or Hefner from England. Have a look at last week's playlist and see if you're interested.

BenFoldsFive : She Don't Use Jelly
Wheat: Don't I Hold You
Prolapse: Killing the Bland
Nick Drake: Hazey Jane II
JeffBuckley: Eternal Life
Built To Spill: Now & Then
Big Star: Kanga Roo
Supersuckers: Bad, Bad, Bad.
Mogwai: Summer
the Muffs: Kids In America
Hefner: I Took Her Love For Granted
You Am I: Mr Milk
Violent Femmes: Lies
Baby Chaos: the Penny Dropped
Sebadoh: Flame
the Delgados: Reasons For Silence
Bis: Teen-C Power
MercuryRev: Endlessly
PrimalScream: Kill All Hippies
Eliot Smith: Pictures Of Me
SleaterKinney: Start Together
James Brown: funk On A Roll
Bellatrix: the Girl With The Sparkling Eyes
DeathInVegas irge
Patti Smith: Glitter In Their eyes
Cadallaca: Oh Chenilla

Not convinced? Well, listen anyway, 'cos I say so.

Revol: Is this show still happening, and are you still working in the studio? If so, I'll give a listen.
