Hello Everyone,

I have truly enjoyed celtic & Scottish music over the years. I have found a local band here that play so well. I think that all who love that kind of music will love them.

We're going to see them at a Ceilidh on May 18, 2000. We will be seeing three generations of fidding. Buddy MacMaster and Alasdair Fraser will also be there with this band.

The band is called Kirkmount. And if you havent heard them, you should try them out. http://www.kirkmount.com

I hope that you all will enjoy these guys as much as I have.

Hello SweetOne,

I too love the Celtic music, being Celtic myself. I think I have close to 40 Celtic CD's now. One is an Alasdair Fraser/Paul Machus,"The Road North". It is great! Alasdair Fraser is my neighbor, about 15 miles from me. He put on a wonderful concert here in town last year with many musicians and some of them young children on their way to be as great as Alasdair. I don't know him personally, but enjoy listening to him as often as I can.

Take Care and have a great time on May 18th.
Alasdair wants everyone to move, dance, clap hands, really enjoy themselves. He certainly enjoys himself!! And he wears a kilt!!

Bye for now,

PS: WELCOME!

Hello Tolitha,

I am glad to hear about Alasdair. I have never had the pleasure of hearing his music, but I am looking forward to this and we will have fun.

We're not taking our 16 month old daughter though .. she couldnt handle 2 hours of sitting still in our laps.

see you soon,

Angelica

Cool

Hello SweetOne,

It would be a good idea to see how the concert goes before you bring you daughter. But believe me you won't be sitting still. It's a hard discission to make. Some times you are glad that you didn't bring small children to things and other times you wish you had. My children are 19, 16, and 14, so it is much easier now.

Let me know how you enjoyed the concert, please.

Bye for now,
