Question

Does anyone understand what Aerosmith or even Guns 'N' Roses is saying in 'Mama Kin'?
I love the song but don't know the words.
And then there's 'Louie Lou-oh'. I can't remember those words either.
And finally, how about the song "Timothy"? You know that classic about canabalism.

Cool

Hi Than, not sure about what "mama kin" means, just sing it anyways.
As far as "Louie Louie," well the band that originally sang it, they don't even know the words. It was never written down and then the singer was mumbling so......
I remember when the song "Timothy" came out when I was a kid. Quite a lot of controversy about even playing the song on the radio. We just didn't sing about stuff like that in the 60's.

Dang. I don't mean the song by the Kingsmen.
I mean the song with the words
"She was black as the night,
Louie was whiter than white
But louie, Louie you're gonna cry
Louie, Louie, Louie Louie-ee
Louie, Louie, Louie Loo-oh
Louie, Louie, you're gonna cry."

And does the words to 'Timothy" sound familiar?
"Timothy, Timothy, where on earth did you go?
Timothy, Timothy, God I wish I knew!"
