...It should have a "deeper" tone than that of a violin if it's viola being the larger instrument that it is.
I LOVE violin, viola and cello equally so...

I'm going by the "expert" in my family. She's in the top 10 of her class in violin and "she" says it's a viola.
Thanks for the info anyways, I was unaware that there were 5-string violins.
