I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.

I have been looking for a song for many years and have had no luck. My grandfather used to sing it to my mother. He was from Scotland and my mother believes is was a Bothy Ballard or a Corn Kister.

All I have is the name of the song (I think it is) - "Kilts Society Ball".

Some of the words go like this:

"There was hairy knees and bald knees and white and feeling cauld knees, a sight you've never seen at the Kilts Society Ball.
They danced the heighland, danced the fling, as folks fa far and wide, displaying all their faults at this the trousers hide."

Yes sounds very strange.

If you can't help me find all the words to this song or know another site that would helpe me I would be very grateful...

Thank you for your time.
Elaine.
:-)
