I think they are a UK group. Current, but not new.

Shortly, I will be listening to The Breeze Block on radio one. It's my favourite show at the moment. The CD that I have been listening to most recently is called Beyond Punk and it came free with Mojo magazine.

Right now I'm jumping between Eurythmics Greatest Hits, The Mission UK, and Edith Piaf 30e Anniversaire. I have a somewhat wide taste in music

Smile What are you listening to at this moment?

Check out the Unusual Suspects live in Scotland. 22-piece Celtic and jazz line up. Cracking musicians, cracking tunes and the lovely singing voice of Corrina Hewat. Blistering stuff. The musicians come from loads of other bands, like Capercaillie, Shooglenifty, Old Blind Dogs, The Poozies, Trio AAB and plenty others. If there's anything about Scottish music you like you gotta give this a listen. There is a website http://www.unusualsuspects.uk.com and you can probably order the CD from http://www.musicscotland.com. When I can't sleep, it's kist o dreams, which you can definately get from http://www.musicscotland.com or Bachue's The Butterfly. In the car it's the soundtrack of O Brother Where art thou - weird, but I like it.

Songs of the Cat(in quotes, from the info pamphlet):

"Here are all the cats you know and alll you need to know. Here is the lonesome cowboy cat and the brave rescue cat and the rich celebrity cat. Here is the fat cat, the union cat, the Alaka cat, and the lost cats who lead on to fortune. Here is the cat as passenger, moralist, diffident observer, dreamer, class act, guardian of the home, victim, objet d' pet, and pesky varmint. Here is "My Grandmother's Cat," "The In And Out Song," Bach's "Cats May Safely Sleep," Mozart's "Eine Kleine Kat," and a loving elegy. With printed lyrics and an essay by the author about the legacy that made this extravagant recording possible."

All in all, sense of humor and appreciation for cats required.

singers are Garrison Keillor and Frederica von Stade, and conducted by Philip Brunelle.

I have downloaded quite a few Scottish (traditional) songs on my hard drive and play them at full blast to annoy my neighbours!
