Hi dear,
well, I can't say I do know much of them.....because I know just one song, the one of the video in heavy rotation on Tv.
But I must reckon I love that song, I like their style, very very old fashion, but much better than much stupid stuff we are there watching everyday. At least they have got a meaning in what they sing. And at least they do have a good kind of melody.
I like them, I think they will go on with their music.

Well, Franz is pop-rock. Extremely popular, when we talk about the mainstream rock scene of North America. Although, while I was in the Scotland in the summer, their posters were in a couple music shops - which is understandable, since they are from Scotland.
They're cute, they're hip, they're fun, and that genre is going to make it up there (the charts) quite shortly.
I like 'The Dark Of The Matinee'. Everytime I listen to it on my computer, it's asking for a party on my chair.

When I first heard "take me out" I kept getting it mixed up with some of Modest Mouses music(which i hear that modest mouses cd sucks!).. but anyhow yes i do like Franz Ferdinand.. although not my favorite band by any means. They are good though... For some reason i also categorize them with The Killers... who i absoloutly love.. check out their cd if you get the chance..
